The original Jazz was prominently played by African Americans in America, during a time of great racial inequality suffered by the black community. Throughout its time, jazz has been about coming together and forgetting the harsh realities we all face day to day, and just letting go. Its spelt with 2 'A' to show the looseness of jazz. I chose the 'messy ben' font to signify the flow of jazz, very relaxed and relaxed, with not much care. but enough for you to see a appeal.  Purpose: The purpose of this product is to show people the true beauty that jazz holds, to accept everyone. It informs people of the new wave of jazz, as well as aiming to spre...

XXL Magazine XXL is a HIip-Hop. He would read this because he would gain information from it. He would also use it as a form of escapism, as it may district him from the real world. Its main target audiences will most likely be young males, from 14-21. Stereotypically you would associate this genre of music with the black community, but nowadays you will find all ethnicities listening to rap. The secondary audience will be people who are looking to further there musical knowledge, and would therefor choose to look into something new.

Through research into Empire magazine, i can determine that there are many levels of synergy present. The masthead always appears to be the same size, approximately 5cm. This is done to keep the magazine recognisable and familiar. However, the colour scheme differs dependent on what exactly is included in the magazine. The colour scheme will always fit whatever story they are advertising on the front cover. This is done to keep the magazine fresh and different, enticing people to purchase the different versions of the magazine.
